Muhammad Abdul Rehman started his professional career in the textile industry, where he gained hands-on industrial experience and practical skills. He is currently working at the University of the Punjab as a Lab Engineer, where he is involved in teaching practical work and applying industry-oriented approaches to student learning for various Industrial Engineering subjects.
His academic and professional interests include ergonomics, human factors, sustainability, lean improvement, operations research, and manufacturing systems. He has worked on several projects related to lean manufacturing, ergonomics, kaizen, human factors, and operations management involving local industry, especially textiles and garments.
Mr. Muhammad Abdulrehman is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from University of the Punjab. He holds MS and B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of the Punjab. His Ph.D. research focuses on lean, job characteristics, ergonomics/human factors and sustainability.
